Part Time School Crossing Guard (Seasonal) at City of Highland Village – Lewisville, Texas

The City of Highland Village is looking for a Part Time Crossing Guard to join our city! With a population of about 17,000, the City of Highland Village is a vibrant, family oriented community in southern Denton County. Highland Village has three elementary and one middle school with approximately 2,200 student’s total. Our Crossing Guards will “Make the Difference” in each students lives by engaging with them and ensuring that they safety cross street intersections.

Duties of this position is to stop traffic, maintain awareness of street crossing, ensure all individuals cross the street safety, and communicate in a friendly demeanor to students, school staff, and parents.

Part Time Crossing Guards must:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Have experience handling the physical requirements of the position
• Be able to work on all-weather climates
• Available to work Monday through Friday from approx. 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
