About This Position
Description:
Primary Function: To enhance the personal growth and quality of life for each client by providing leadership that ensures effective operation of The Ranch facility. Supervises all services delivered to assigned clients in attendance, as well as staff employed by The Ranch.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensures that each individual’s active treatment plan is consistently implemented and documentation accurately reflects performance and/or service.
- Completes monthly reviews of individual program documentation.
- Provides ongoing assistance to professional and direct care staff regarding service delivery and daily
- activities, documentation, programming and application of standards. Supervises assigned personnel,
- scheduled staff and assigns work, interviews applicants, recommends employee disciplinary actions,
- evaluates employee performance, and implements policies and procedures.
- Provides updated training information for staff members and participates in formal and informal in-service training. Assists with the training of professional staff as deemed necessary to develop uniform procedures, instructional improvement and cooperation. Notifies staff when needed training is be scheduled and follows through to ensure it has been completed (example: BCI checks, vehicle driving record checks, Abuser registry checks, but not limited to just those listed).
- Compliance and correspondence with Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities (see attachment provided)).
- Compliance and correspondence with state of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (see attachment provided).
- Meeting with State of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities compliance review requirements for
- fiduciary records (see attachment provided).
- Organize program transportation which consists of routes and times, coordinated for driver, billing mileage
- documentation recorded and filed, organizing vehicle maintenance and repair, cleaning, daily checklist inspections, etc.
- Review weekly census sheets for accuracy and submit for billing.
- Management of inside building maintenance (see attachment provided).
- Management of outside of property grounds (see attachment provided).
- Reviewing research and assessments for new individuals.
- Inventory and purchasing of supplies and equipment needed for program.
- Maintains Medical Administrative records by working with RGHI administration to schedule staff for trainings
- and scheduling and documenting medicines required by clients and their dosage times.
- Provides direct care support for individuals in emergency situations ONLY.
- Routinely monitors implementation of programs and services. Provides immediate feedback when the need for improvement is indicated.
- Maintains necessary records and reports in a timely manner, consistent with accreditation and regulatory
- standards. Ensures that each subordinate staff member completes and submits documentation in a timely manner.
- Provides effective leadership and supervision of associates. Assures RGHI and The Ranch policies and procedures are followed.
- Acts as a liaison between RGHI, Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Guardians, and
- DODD regarding assimilation and distribution of service delivery information.
- Maintain checking account, maintain individual client accounts, as well as review and balance cash on hand
- accounts (as needed; minimum 1xmontly).
- Will perform any other job related duties when assigned by the Executive Director.
- Reports to Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field but not limited to:
- Psychology, Education, Business, Sociology, or Human Services.
- 3 Years Direct Care Experience with Developmentally Disabled population
- 3 Years Supervisory Experience
- Position pay status: Salaried: Exempt
- Vacation per year - Follow RGHI Employee Handbook Protocol
