Training Manager / Instructional Designer

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and forward-thinking Training Manager / Instructional Designer who is excited to build impactful learning programs that support employee growth, operational excellence, and exceptional service delivery. Candidates for this position can be located in or around our program areas across the state (Counties - Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Alachua, Brevard, Volusia, Flagler, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Collier, Hillsborough, Lake, St. Lucie).

What You’ll Do

As our Training Manager / Instructional Designer, you will partner with leaders across the organization to design and deliver engaging, learner-centered training solutions that support employee performance and organizational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting training needs analyses and identifying performance gaps
  • Designing and developing engaging eLearning and instructor-led training programs
  • Creating multimedia learning content, including storyboards, scripts, job aids, facilitator guides, and videos
  • Managing and updating online learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Evaluating training effectiveness and implementing continuous improvements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure training aligns with operational and compliance needs
  • Researching and incorporating current learning trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Supporting a culture of learning, engagement, and professional development throughout the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning & development
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE)
  • Experience developing eLearning content using Articulate 360 or similar authoring tools
  • Experience with LMS platforms and online learning administration
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and content development skills
  • Experience with multimedia development, graphic design, and/or video editing preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
