Medical Assistant in Shreveport, Louisiana at Willis-Knighton Health System

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with experience that can work in a team approach. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual. They will need to be able to be multi-tasked at all times. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: patient triage, assisting in clinical procedures, medication administration, medication reconciliation, phone in prescriptions with documentation. The MA will need good computer skills. All documentation will be documented in the computer system. They will assist in scheduling tests and procedures. The Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends or holidays are required. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of competency.
