Work Control Coordinator & Scheduler – North Warning System
Location: North Bay, Ontario
Type: Full-Time, Non-Rotational
Nasittuq Corporation operates and maintains the North Warning System (NWS), a critical joint Canada-US radar network with 47 sites across Northern Canada. The NWS is a key component of continental defense, and Nasittuq provides operations and maintenance services with facilities located in North Bay, ON, and Ottawa, ON. What You’ll Do- Generate and manage project schedules aligned with the Five-Year Operation, Maintenance, and Sustainment Plan.
- Analyze schedules for risks, resource limitations, and interdependencies while addressing potential conflicts.
- Troubleshoot scheduling challenges and adjust daily schedules based on real-time progress and priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to consolidate work plans, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plans using Maximo Asset Management software.
- Conduct environmental, safety, and quality checks to support a healthy and safe workplace.
- Education: Post-secondary program completion (PMP certification is an asset).
- Experience: Minimum of three years in work scheduling or planning (NWS experience is an asset).
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Maximo, and other scheduling tools.
- Clearance: Eligible for or currently holding Level II (Secret) Clearance.
