The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Human Resource Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting and onboarding activities, administering pre-employment processes, maintaining employee records, supporting benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. The Human Resource Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and managers while assisting with HR reporting, policy administration, and other programs that contribute to an efficient and engaged workforce. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional internal customer service.
What You'll Do
· Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, coordinating interviews, processing background checks, and assisting with candidate communications.
· Coordinate new hire onboarding for field and office employees, including orientation materials and employment documentation.
· Administer drug screening and background check programs.
· Assist with employee benefits administration and communicate benefit information to employees.
· Maintain employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and compliance documentation.
· Support EEO, affirmative action, federal contractor compliance, and employment law requirements.
· Track and report HR metrics and assist with departmental reporting and audits.
· Process HR-related invoices and maintain vendor records.
· Assist with policy administration, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of Human Resource experience or 2 years of education and 1 year of Human Resource experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associates degree
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
