The role spans authentication and authorization, privileged access management, segregation of duties, integrations, and cross-functional interfaces.
You will work closely with technical stakeholders and user communities to define requirements and evaluate effective architectural options.
Your designs will help ensure systems remain interoperable, compliant, and aligned with established technology and open-systems standards.
The position offers the opportunity to solve complex workflow, architecture, and organizational challenges within a technology-focused environment.
This is an impactful role for an experienced systems architect who combines deep ICAM expertise with strong technical judgment and security awareness.

Accountabilities:
  • Establish and analyze system information requirements to translate ICAM needs into enterprise-wide and large-scale information system solutions.
  • Engage with user communities and technical stakeholders to identify high-level functional and technical requirements within the context of enterprise architecture.
  • Design comprehensive ICAM implementation architectures covering software, hardware, communications, integrations, and present and future cross-functional requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and present architectural options for authentication and authorization, segregation of duties, privileged access management, and related access-control capabilities.
  • Develop high-level system architecture and design diagrams that clearly communicate proposed solutions and technical relationships.
  • Ensure system architectures are compatible with applicable open-systems and information management standards, including OSI, ISO, IEEE OSE reference models, and related solution requirements.
  • Evaluate application platforms, APIs, external environments, and software integrations to ensure architectural alignment and interoperability.
  • Ensure the common operating environment meets applicable architecture, technical, and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze complex workflow, organizational, and planning challenges and develop appropriate corrective actions and architectural improvements.
  • Collaborate across technical and user communities to support scalable, secure, and sustainable ICAM implementations.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in systems architecture and engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDAM/ICAM) implementations and integrations.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Active Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is expected; a master’s degree in a technical field combined with approximately 15 years of experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, identity management, authentication, authorization, privileged access management, and segregation of duties.
  • Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, scalable system architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems, workflows, and organizational challenges.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, including the ability to create and explain high-level architecture and system design diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of interoperability, open-systems architecture, APIs, and enterprise integration concepts.
  • High level of technical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, adaptable mindset and willingness to engage with evolving technologies, including responsible use of AI-enabled tools.
Benefits:
  • Salary: $210,000–$240,000 annually, depending on experience and skill set.
  • Eligibility for a comprehensive employee benefits program.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Salary ranges may vary based on geographic differentials.
  • Opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale technology and ICAM initiatives.
  • Collaborative environment focused on innovation, continuous learning, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Career growth opportunities within a large technology-focused organization.
  • Supportive workplace committed to equitable and inclusive employment practices.
