Albany Care, a Residential Mental Health Facility in Evanston, Illinois, Seeks a Full Time, Experienced Commercial Painter.

$23.00-$25.00 per hour, Plus Benefits. Monday - Friday - Start Immediately.

The ideal candidate can work a Flexible Schedule including Occasional Weekends.

Responsibilities of the Experienced Painters:

• Cleaning, preparing, repairing, and priming surfaces, including drywalling, to ensure smooth finish
• Mixing, matching, and applying primer and paint to walls, ceilings, doors, trim as directed
• Assist with preparation of cost estimates for capital investment projects and renovations
• Communicating with the Administrator or designee to determine painting needs and requirements to make best decisions about projects
• Assembly of scaffolding and safety equipment may be required
• May operate tools such as power washer and spray paint equipment
• Maintain inventory of brushes, rollers, tarps
• Adhere to quality standards of health and safety regulations
• Will report to facility Administrator

of the Painters:

• Commercial painting experience preferred
• Ability to speak and read English preferred
• Must pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting, and be deemed eligible to work in a healthcare facility by the IL Dept of Public Health
• Previous work experience in a residential health care setting a plus
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Must have compassion for those with psychiatric conditions
• Must be willing to have a flu shot, unless you have a valid medical or religious exemption letter
