Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our staff in the Hospital Pharmacy Department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the Department: The CMH Hospital Pharmacy compounds and dispenses medications by means of standard physical and chemical procedures to fill medication orders and prescription requests issued by physicians and other qualified prescribers.

A typical day will include: Assisting the Pharmacist in a variety of pharmacy-related duties utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served while adhering to regulated standards and rules.

• Assures adequate supplies of medications are available
• Prepares and accurately labels medications for dispensing to patients
• Enters insurance information, processes insurance claims, and assists with billing transactions
• Assists pharmacists with communication to patients and provider

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Skills: Proficiency with computer software and other technologies, attention to detail, and organization
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri upon hire
• Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the time

The position is: Full-time, 10-hour shifts and working every other weekend.
