The position combines clinical knowledge with strong coordination and case management expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will oversee complex patient journeys, from referral to reimbursement approval and ongoing therapy support. The work directly impacts patients’ ability to access life-changing medications in a timely and efficient manner. This is a fully remote role with collaboration across multiple healthcare stakeholders nationwide.

Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate end-to-end patient access to specialty therapies, including biologics and biosimilars, ensuring timely initiation of treatment pathways.
  • Manage referral intake, documentation accuracy, and submission processes for reimbursement and funding approvals.
  • Collaborate with insurers and support teams to facilitate prior authorization, special authorization, and appeals processes.
  • Educate patients and healthcare providers on therapies, eligibility criteria, disease areas, and treatment pathways.
  • Support physicians with reimbursement navigation and administrative requirements for therapy access.
  • Track patient cases in PSP systems, ensuring adherence to KPIs, timelines, and service standards.
  • Coordinate with clinics and pharmacies to align treatment scheduling and medication delivery.
  • Monitor patient progress, adherence, and therapy interruptions, escalating issues when needed.
  • Report adverse events according to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical, reimbursement, and operations teams to optimize patient experience and program performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, service quality, and access efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, patient services, case management, or clinical support roles.
  • Strong experience with patient support programs, reimbursement processes, or payer systems.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian public and private healthcare funding systems.
  • Familiarity with prior authorization, appeals, and specialty therapy access pathways.
  • Experience in biologics, immunology, oncology, or specialty pharmacy environments is an asset.
  • Knowledge of PSP platforms, CRM systems, or healthcare case management tools.
  • Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and high-volume environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an advantage.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $81,500 to $108,600 annually.
  • Eligibility for annual bonuses and long-term incentive programs.
  • Fully remote work arrangement across Canada.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-impact healthcare environment improving patient access to therapies.
  • Exposure to complex clinical cases and advanced specialty treatment pathways.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional work culture with strong professional autonomy.
  • Potential for occasional travel for training or team collaboration sessions.
