Job Description
Position Summary
Foothills Neurology is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations and employee lifecycle activities. This position plays a vital role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, and employee records management. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Records & Data Management
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files.
• Update and maintain employee information within HRIS and payroll systems.
• Track employee certifications, licensure renewals, mandatory training, and performance review dates.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with record retention requirements.
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and candidate communications.
• Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and background screenings.
• Prepare offer letters, new hire packets, and onboarding documentation.
• Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
• Maintain applicant tracking logs, interview score sheets, and recruitment records.
Employee Relations & Communications
• Assist with employee relations matters and policy interpretation.
• Coordinate employee recognition programs, staff events, and meetings.
• Distribute HR communications, policy updates, and organizational announcements.
• Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Training & Development Support
• Schedule employee training sessions and track attendance.
• Maintain training records and assist with compliance reporting.
• Support performance review and professional development programs.
Administrative Support
• Prepare HR documents, including offer letters, forms, memorandums, and employee communications.
• Assist the HR Manager and leadership team with special projects, reporting, and data requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational and organizational needs.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources, Administrative, Clerical, or Office Coordination experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems, and employee onboarding processes preferred.
