Receptionist qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required 1 year experience in LTC/skilled nursing community preferred Experience working in a Person-Directed Care environment preferred Superb customer service and communication skills Experience operating multiline telephone systemWorking computer knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong organization and time management skills
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and welcoming mannerAnswer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries or take accurate messagesSchedule, confirm, and manage appointments using the organization’s scheduling systemAssists clients with checking in and out of kiosk systemMaintain the reception area to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environmentReceive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondenceMaintain accurate records, files, and data entry in accordance with organizational policiesSupport administrative and clerical tasks while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
