Front Desk Receptionist at West Georgia Gastroenterology Associates, PC – Carrollton, Georgia

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, individual to serve as a full-time member of the Front Office team who can handle multi-tasking in a busy medical practice. Ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment with strong attention to detail, excellent verbal, and communication skills.

DUTIES:

• Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Handle patient registration, check-in and check out procedures
• Perform detail-oriented patient data entry into an EMR system
• Verify insurance coverage and collect payment for patient services
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule patient appointments for multiple providers
• Communicate daily with patients, peers, and physicians
• Ensure timely patient flow through the practice
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Front desk/Medical 1 year (preferred)
• Epic (preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
