The Payroll Specialist provides part-time support for payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time across weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll cycles. This role assists with payroll processing, timecard corrections, payroll tax compliance, and related projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional seeking a flexible schedule of approximately 20–30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls
• Review and correct timecard discrepancies and payroll data issues
• Research and resolve payroll tax filing and compliance matters
• Support state reporting requirements and payroll-related audits
• Perform payroll data maintenance, corrections, and system updates
• Assist with benefits-related payroll projects and reporting as needed
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and management to resolve payroll-related inquiries

• Experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
• Accounting or payroll administration background required
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and timekeeping systems
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
