- Own and drive the end-to-end engineering and product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and execution timelines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, and design teams to translate business strategy into technical delivery.
- Oversee sprint planning, project execution, resource allocation, and delivery milestones to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, ensuring scalability, system reliability, and code quality.
- Actively contribute to system architecture, technical decision-making, and hands-on development when needed.
- Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure successful delivery of complex technical initiatives.
- Promote a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and operational excellence across engineering teams.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including senior technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams in startup or fast-growth environments.
- Strong track record of owning product roadmaps and delivering cross-functional technical projects.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable engineering practices.
- Hands-on technical capability with the ability to contribute to code and architecture when required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with founders and executive teams.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to prioritize based on business impact and user value.
- Experience in e-commerce or similar fast-paced digital product environments is highly desirable.
