Job Description

Pessoa Desenvolvedora Frontend Sr

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Frontend Sr based in Brazil.

This is a senior frontend engineering role in a highly collaborative and product-driven environment where you will play a key technical leadership role within the development team. You will be responsible not only for building and maintaining modern, scalable web applications, but also for ensuring architectural consistency, code quality, and long-term technical sustainability. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and active participation in product discussions. You will help translate business needs into robust frontend solutions while guiding less experienced developers and raising engineering standards across the team. Working in an agile and remote-first environment, you will contribute directly to product evolution, performance optimization, and technical decision-making. This is an opportunity to influence both architecture and team culture in a fast-growing, innovation-oriented organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of frontend features, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team, supporting decision-making on architecture, solution design, and best development practices.
  • Review code (PRs) and ensure quality standards are met, serving as a final layer of technical validation for critical changes.
  • Collaborate closely with Product teams to evaluate requirements, define technical feasibility, and propose MVPs or alternative solutions when needed.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through pair programming, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Maintain and evolve technical documentation, including architecture decisions (ADRs), runbooks, APIs, and system workflows.
  • Identify, track, and help prioritize technical debt, ensuring continuous improvement of system health and performance.
  • Contribute to improving engineering processes, including debugging, incident resolution, and delivery flow optimization.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or AngularJS.
  • Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS-in-JS solutions (e.g., Styled Components, Tailwind).
  • Solid understanding of state management tools such as Redux or React Query.
  • Experience with frontend architecture patterns, including component-based design and scalable UI systems.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, caching strategies, and front-end best practices.
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with a product-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership mindset with experience mentoring developers and guiding technical decisions.
  • Nice to have: experience with micro-frontends, SSR/CSR/SSG strategies, and design systems.
  • Nice to have: exposure to testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Firebase).
Benefits:
  • Meal or food allowance (flexible card)
  • Home office allowance
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Extended parental leave program
  • Childcare assistance
  • Wellness platform access (gym, mental health, and well-being services)
  • Medical and nutritional telehealth consultations
  • Pet health plan benefits
  • Language learning partnerships with discounts on English and Spanish courses
  • Profit-sharing program (PLR)
  • Year-end break (paid holiday period between Christmas and New Year)
  • Home office setup support allowance
  • Birthday day off
  • Career development programs, mentoring, and continuous feedback culture
  • Learning platforms, internal talks, and leadership development initiatives.
