Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Environmental Services Worker
Butterfield Residential Care Center is a 78-bed residential care community. The center allows residents all the privacy of apartment living without the worries of living alone.
Description of department: Each housekeeper has their own shift and they work alone cleaning apartments but they also work together as a team with the C.N.A, med tech, charge nurse, activities, D.O.N, and the Administrator. Day shift helps serve breakfast, evening shift helps serve supper. Overnight shift does the public areas and offices. They work together with the charge nurse and C.N.A. as a team.
A typical day will include: Day and evening shifts include cleaning resident apartments using the seven step cleaning process. Typically there is three to five apartments daily that get cleaned. Apartments are cleaned once a week. We also supply them with bathroom linens. Bed linens are changed weekly unless soiled. Workers are also required to help serve a meal. Any extra time will be spent on special projects or healthstreams. The overnight shift is responsible for cleaning the public restrooms, lobby, offices, day areas, dining room, kitchen, and beauty shop. They are assigned a specific hall to detail every night. They are also responsible for putting away linens that have been delivered by the hospital laundry. They are in charge of cleaning the public patios daily. If a resident leaves the facility the overnight housekeeper would detail that room to get it ready for the next resident.
The position is Per Requested Need, Days 7am. - 3pm
