Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Environmental Services Worker.

Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134-bed long-term care, skilled nursing center. It includes a 34-bed memory care unit, as well as a 16-bed high-functioning memory care unit. These units meet the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Description of department: The day shift consists of 4 Environmental Services Workers, 1 floor technician, and 1 laundry worker. We have a set schedule for the day shift. The evening shift consists of 2 housekeepers, 1 rehab housekeeper, and 1 laundry worker. High school students are eligible for hire and will be considered for the Environmental Services Worker evening shift, 3:00p.m or after. Laundry workers work from 12:00p.m-8:00p.m.

A typical day will include: Day shift will clean resident rooms, dining rooms, and the beauty shop. Only vacuuming when needed. The night shift will vacuum all carpet and rugs, remove all office trash, clean up all dishes in dining rooms, and sweep/mop all areas.
