About This Position
About the Role:
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the overall mission of our manufacturing organization by managing various HR functions. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist will serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding policies, benefits, and workplace issues. Additionally, this role involves the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent. Ultimately, the HR Generalist contributes to the development of a skilled and motivated workforce that drives the success of our manufacturing operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment software.
- Familiarity with employee training and development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate employee records.
- Facilitate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
- Address employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
