Human Resources Business Partner
Duluth, GA | On-site
Human-first. Future-focused.
We have decades of trusted avionics behind us. What excites us most is what’s ahead.
We’re looking for an HR Business Partner who loves all of HR. Finding great talent. Growing the people already here. Coaching leaders. Strengthening culture. Finding the patterns in the metrics. Solving hard problems. And making sure the fundamentals work.
You’ll report directly to our Director of HR and join a close-knit HR team, working alongside another HR Business Partner in Tucson and our HR Manager in Duluth. You’ll partner closely with leaders and employees across the business.
You’ll be expected to understand the business well enough to influence what happens next.
🔹 What You’ll Do
- Recruit, select, and onboard great talent
- Coach leaders through performance, development, and people decisions
- Lead employee relations matters and workplace investigations
- Drive training, development, engagement, and culture
- Own the HR fundamentals across benefits, HRIS, payroll, compensation, and employee changes
- Partner on workforce planning, succession, retention, and organizational change
- Geek out on the data. Spot patterns, ask why, and turn what you find into action
We’re changing how we work too. We’re using AI, automation, and smarter processes to spend less time on administration and more time with people.
🔹 What Success Looks Like
- Leaders call you before a people problem becomes an HR problem.
- You find great people and help the people already here grow. You know what’s happening in the business because you know the people, understand the work, and pay attention to the numbers.
- You see the employee journey as connected. Every interaction matters, from the first candidate conversation to the everyday moments that shape whether people grow, perform, and stay.
- You naturally flow to where you’re needed. Recruiting. Coaching. Solving. Analyzing. Influencing. Negotiating. Listening.
- The setting changes, but the fundamentals don’t: understand people, see patterns, ask good questions, use the data, and move things forward.
🔹 What Matters to Us
- You’ve spent 5+ years doing broad HR work, with real depth in employee relations, recruiting, and coaching managers.
- You understand the fundamentals across compensation, performance, employment law, organizational effectiveness, and the other pieces that come with owning the employee experience.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience. SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus, but neither matters more to us than great judgment, curiosity, and the ability to do the work well.
- You communicate clearly, whether you’re coaching a leader, talking with an employee, documenting an investigation, or turning something complex into something people can actually understand.
- You’re a strong problem solver. You gather the facts, recognize patterns, use the data, and make sound decisions even when the answer isn’t obvious.
- You’re comfortable with Microsoft 365 and HR systems, and you’re open to AI, automation, and new technology that can help us work better.
🔹 A Few Important Details
This is an on-site role in Duluth, Georgia. The work is primarily performed in an office environment and includes regular sitting, standing, walking, communicating, and use of a computer. Occasionally, you may need to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
🔹 What We Offer
- Your benefits start on day one.
- You’ll have access to multiple medical plan options, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, 14 paid holidays, tuition and gym reimbursement, wellness resources, employee assistance programs, and more.
- And yes, we offer a 9/80 schedule option, which means every other Friday off.
🔹 Why You’ll Love Working Here
You get the best of both worlds: the agility and connection of a mid-sized company with the resources and global reach of Elbit Systems.
You’ll work with smart people on technology that matters, in a company where innovation, growth, and learning aren’t just things we put on a careers page.
Our work helps make aviation safer. And you’ll help make UA a place where the people doing that work can thrive.
Make It Happen. We Grow Together. Excellence. Innovation.
🔹 Sound like you?
We should talk.
