This is a high-impact leadership role at the forefront of applied AI and computer vision innovation, focused on shaping the next generation of generative imaging technology at massive scale. You will lead a fast-growing ML team working on foundational models and cutting-edge AI systems that power advanced visual editing capabilities used by hundreds of millions of users globally. The role combines deep technical ownership with strategic leadership, influencing long-term research direction and product innovation. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to translate research breakthroughs into real-world applications. With a strong focus on scaling both technology and teams, you will help define the future of AI-driven image creation. - Define and own the long-term computer vision and ML strategy, including development of foundational and diffusion-based models
- Lead, scale, and mentor a high-performing ML team, ensuring technical excellence and strong engineering culture
- Drive end-to-end model development, including training large-scale models and optimizing performance and reliability
- Oversee research-to-production workflows to accelerate the delivery of innovative AI capabilities into live products
- Establish evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to ensure model quality and industry-leading performance standards
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to align ML initiatives with business objectives
- Act as a technical authority, providing hands-on guidance through code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
- 5+ years of experience leading ML or AI teams in product-driven companies with strategic ownership responsibilities
- Strong expertise in computer vision, generative AI, and diffusion models
- Proven experience training large-scale foundational models (billion+ parameters) end-to-end
- Track record of building and scaling technical teams (8+ members), including hiring and mentoring senior engineers/researchers
- Deep technical proficiency to guide architecture decisions, debug complex training issues, and optimize model performance
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with product, engineering, and business teams
- Decisive leadership style with the ability to balance innovation, execution, and long-term vision
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
