JOB RELATIONSHIPS

• Supervises RNs, LPNs, NAs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees; responsible to Clinical Director.

DEFINITION OF POSITION

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.

  • Current PALS or obtain within 6 months of employment.

  • Current AHA BLS certification required.

  • Current NRP on hire or obtain within 6 months of employment.

  • Professional certification preferred.

  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire if applicable.

  • Ability to provide care based on age, developmental status and socioeconomic need.
