Accounting Intern

Position Overview

Choice Digital is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Accounting and Finance Intern to join our Accounting team. This opportunity is designed for current students looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment at a dynamic and growing start-up. You will work closely with our Accounting team to assist with daily financial and accounting operations, data entry, month-end closing procedures, and financial statement projection and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Management: Assist the Accounting team with entering and managing revenue and card transactions into NetSuite accounting system
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, transaction statements and general ledger accounts
• Financial Reporting: Support the Accounting team in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in building and maintaining budget models and financial forecasts, prepare variance analyses that compare actuals to plan, and support the preparation of management reports and financial summaries. Work directly with data to identify trends and surface insights that inform business decisions
• Special Projects: Support and lead ad-hoc initiatives, such as expense analyses or process improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student and pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) preferred
• High level of attention to detail when handling numerical data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with strict confidentiality
• Ability to work in office 40 hours/five days per week for the duration of the program

What we Offer

• Competitive hourly rate of $25/hr

• This position is eligible for accrued sick leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA)

In compliance with Colorado state law, pay for this position is anticipated to be $25/hr. The Internship is anticipated to last 10-12 weeks, beginning on or around June 1st, 2026.
