Finance Intern in Miramar, Florida at United Data Technologies

This position is located in Miramar, FL.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance Department. This internship offers hands-on experience across multiple finance functions including Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and is eager to develop practical skills in a professional finance environment.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Assistin preparing cost-saving analyses and presenting findings to the finance team
• Support ad hoc financial reporting and data analysis requests from various departments
• Enter and process vendor invoices in the accounting system accurately andin a timely manner
• Assistwith vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on any discrepancies
• Support the AP team with payment processing workflows
• Assist the AR team with invoice generation, tracking, and collections follow-up
• Support the billing team with monthly billing cycles and customer account maintenance
• Help reconcile billing discrepancies and communicate resolutions
• Participate in ongoing finance team initiatives and process improvement projects
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• Currently pursuing aBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Prior coursework or experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related area
• Practical knowledge ofgenerally acceptedaccounting principles

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
