Accounts payable roles involve managing a company's outgoing payments and ensuring financial accuracy. Key duties include:

Invoice Processing

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
• Enter invoice data into accounting systems.

Payment Management

• Schedule and process payments to vendors.
• Ensure timely payments to avoid late fees.
• Maintain records of all payments made.

Vendor Relations

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices.
• Maintain updated vendor information.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable.
• Monitor and report on outstanding payables.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation.

Compliance and Controls
