AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) manufactures high-purity Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramics materials and CMP Slurries for the semiconductor industry. We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. THE POSITION
AGCEA has an excellent opportunity for a Chemical Process Technician in our CMP department on our Day Shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM).

A Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) technician is responsible for moving chemical drums with an electric pallet jack, drum lifter and drum dolly.

Persons in this role will be responsible for hand transferring chemicals into mixing tanks for mixing, as well as weighing and mixing material to precise specification.

Team members perform cleaning of mixing equipment, lines, and manufacturing areas according to specific procedure, and may assemble/disassemble manufacture equipment.

Technicians in this role are required to keep detailed records of production processes, both physically and digitally.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a minimum of 6 months – 1 year of related manufacturing experience Requires completed general education (high school or GED), vocational training, and/or on‐the‐job training Basic understanding of the fundamentals of CMP including basic shop math, formulas, measuring instruments, machine functions, and controls. Ability to use computer programs to operate machine functions and system controls for processing equipment and systems Experience with various measuring equipment; scales, gages, and ability to input data Must be able to perform processes to conformance individually, and within the team setting

OUR PAY and BENEFITS
The selected candidate will be eligible for an hourly rate between $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending upon experience.
