Must be able to work both outdoors and in the shop, and adapt to the seasonal demands of farm operations, particularly during peak periods in the spring and fall. Flexibility is required to service and maintain all equipment in order to prevent breakdowns through pre-harvest and post-harvest inspections.

We are expanding our operations and are looking for one (1) Agricultural Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at our headquarters.
Now that you know about us, we want to know more about you! We are looking for someone who can:
- Troubleshoot,diagnoseand repair equipment such as but not limited to harvesters, tractors, Soil Preparation Equipment. Seed Drills. Mowers, Diggers, Transplanters, UtilityVehiclesand various farm equipment attachments / implements.
- Inspect and repair equipment with faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions todeterminethe extent of repairrequired
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications
- Maintain attachments and working tools such as tillage, planting irrigation, plows, discs, loaders, bale spear, root grapple, pallet forks, mowers, shredders,cultivatorswagons, trailers to manufacturing specifications
- Perform repair work on heavy equipment, devices, tools andassisttruck mechanic
- Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic,mechanicaland electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
- Perform Lockout
- Welding duties
- Housekeeping of work area asrequired
We think it would be awesome if you have:
- Two (2) years of experience
- Qualified and/or certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) / Agricultural Equipment Technician (425A) preferred
- Comprehend and interpret technical service manuals and schematics
- Consistent in troubleshooting skills in electrical and hydraulic systems
- Operate vehicle and equipment safely in the service shop and in the field
- Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week of weekends
- Ability to lift 75 pounds asrequiredwithoutassistance
