Senior Accountant in Rosemont, Illinois at American Medical Technologists

Joining AMT as our Senior Accountant means playing a key role in maintaining accuracy and organization in our financial operations while ensuring everything runs smoothly. In close collaboration with our Controller, you’ll support financial analysis, investigations, and the integrity of our financial data and systems.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

· Supporting monthly and year-end close activities; including reconciliations and journal entries

· Preparing financial reports and analyzing data to identify trends and variances

· Collaborating with the Controller on regulatory and compliance activities such as filings and the annual audit

· Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and consistency

What AMT Needs From You:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, required

o CPA, desirable

· Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience

· Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices

· NetSuite experience, required

· Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, including Pivot Tables

· Strong Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint

· Non-Profit accounting experience preferred

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to relay complex financial information to various audiences

· Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and prioritization skills with flexibility and attention to detail

· Collaborative and team-oriented

· Ability to work with minimal supervision
