What You'll Do
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, package units, and light refrigeration systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on residential heating and cooling systems as needed.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-related HVAC issues.
- Communicate repair recommendations and system performance findings clearly with customers.
- Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing Chesterfield Service in the field.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Commercial HVAC service experience required (light residential experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC equipment, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Experience servicing rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, heat pumps, and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Ability to work independently while managing service schedules effectively.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information and repair options to customers.
- Ability to complete 2–4 service calls per day while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to participate in evenings, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license (Class E required within first week of employment) and ability to pass a background check.
