Summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is seeking a proactive and collaborative Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and other technical issues. This role is responsible for troubleshooting problems, resolving technical incidents, and ensuring a high level of customer service to maintain smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other desktop equipment/accessories.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Document all support requests, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
  • Maintain knowledge of company IT policies and ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT functions and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in technical support or help desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting laptop/PC hardware.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Exchange, Entra and Intune administration.
  • Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • A+ Certification.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.

Location: Longmont, CO

Base Compensation: $23.20 - 28.60 per hour is the projected compensation range for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.


Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Closing Date: August 1st. While we expect to keep the position open through this date, the posting may be extended or closed early based on applicant volume and hiring needs.
