Human Resources Generalist
Position Type: Full-Time Professional, Exempt
Location: 1515 East 4th Street, Little Rock, AR 72202.
Travel: Travel required to operations in Hot Springs, Newport, and Pine Bluff, AR

Key Responsibilities
The Human Resouce Generalist, you will play a critical role as trusted partner to employees and managers by supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle while fostering a positive, accountable, and engaging workplace culture. Responsibilities include:
- Recruitment & Hiring
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Partner with each divisions General Manager’s to understand staffing needs and build talent pipelines.
- Ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience.
- Employee Accountability & Management Support
- Partner with Management to uphold accountability across all roles.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers to ensure clear communication of job responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Address performance gaps, attendance issues, and facilitate individual development plans.
- Benefits & Employee Support
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and annual open enrollment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, leave, and HR policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Culture and Employee Engagement
- Champion O’Connor Distributing Core Values through employee engagement, recognition, and communication initiatives.
- Help foster an environment where employees feel respected, supported, and accountable
- HR Policy and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the employee handbook and facilitate reviews with all employees.
- Manage ADP system, with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP, or PHR/SHHR) preferred or willingness to obtain a professional certification is a plus
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy development.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and best practices.
- Demonstrated success recruiting hourly, sales, warehouse, professional positions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze HR metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
