This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a AI Tech Lead / Tech Lead de Inteligência Artificial based in Brazil.

In this role, you will take a central position in shaping and scaling cutting-edge AI solutions that power real production systems. You will act as a technical reference for initiatives involving LLMs, intelligent agents, and AI-driven automation, ensuring these solutions are robust, scalable, and production-ready. The position requires strong architectural thinking combined with hands-on development, as you will contribute directly to building and evolving AI systems in production environments. You will guide engineering teams on best practices, define technical standards, and support critical decisions related to AI architecture and infrastructure. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Product, Data, Security, and Engineering teams to align technical execution with business goals. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on innovation, technical excellence, and real-world application of AI at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as a technical reference for AI initiatives, defining architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies for production-grade solutions.
  • Lead the design and evolution of AI systems based on LLMs, agents, RAG, APIs, and asynchronous processing architectures.
  • Oversee and contribute hands-on to the development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI solutions in production.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, scalability, observability, security, and maintainability across AI systems.
  • Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and MLOps/LLMOps practices for AI workflows.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, supporting technical growth, code reviews, and architectural alignment within the team.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and technologies, recommending best-fit solutions for business and technical needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Security, Engineering) to ensure feasibility and impact of AI initiatives.
  • Contribute directly to coding, debugging, and problem-solving in complex AI systems when needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong exposure to distributed systems and scalable architectures.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles (Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience delivering AI-powered solutions into production environments.
  • Strong experience with AI architectures including LLMs, RAG systems, agents, embeddings, and semantic search.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Agno, or similar tools.
  • Solid background in system design including APIs, caching, asynchronous processing, scalability, and observability.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices applied to AI or data-driven systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, cloud environments, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting production systems.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, define technical standards, and lead architectural discussions with confidence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: experience with MLOps/LLMOps, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Datadog, or similar tools.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Machine Learning, Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop), and responsible AI practices.
Benefits:
  • 100% remote work model.
  • Collaborative, trust-based culture focused on autonomy and high performance.
  • Strong culture of feedback, 1:1s, and continuous learning without micromanagement.
  • Competitive benefits package including meal/food allowance.
  • Health, education, wellness, and childcare support benefits.
  • Home office support and flexible work environment.
  • Gym membership partnerships and wellness programs.
  • Day off on your birthday and additional quality-of-life perks.
  • Access to learning resources, courses, and professional development opportunities.
