Job Overview:

Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation that nearly doubled the number of treatment beds from 27 to 45. Care is now delivered in highly personalized areas that address the needs of families, seniors and behavioral patients. Also included in the project are a 128-slice CT scanner and an onsite ultrasound suite that speeds up the delivery of care and provides a more detailed diagnosis. Unlike many hospitals, Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a full-service institution. As such, we are fully-equipped and staffed to provide a complete range of services to those in need of general care, as well as specialized services, such as pediatric or obstetric care. As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocating for your patients
  • Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
  • Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
  • Providing clear, compassionate education for patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
  • Contributing your voice during interdisciplinary rounds, helping drive seamless communication and smooth transitions of care
  • Taking an active role in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork directly impact outcomes
  • Pursuing continued professional growth through access to continuing education, clinical ladder opportunities, and organizational resources that support long-term career progression

To be considered for this Registered Nurse (RN), you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification along with ACLS certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred with a minimum of 2 years of emergency care nursing experience. This position is Per Diem, night shift (7PM-7: 30 AM), every other weekend with rotating holidays.
