This role is focused on leading and developing multifunctional clinical operations teams within a sponsor-dedicated FSP environment, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong alignment with customer expectations. The position plays a key role in managing performance, resources, and engagement across assigned teams while maintaining close collaboration with external stakeholders. You will act as a central point of contact for customers, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in service execution. The role combines people leadership with business impact responsibilities, requiring a strong ability to balance operational oversight, talent development, and customer satisfaction. Working in a global and fast-paced clinical research environment, you will contribute directly to the success of complex clinical programs. - Lead and manage multifunctional clinical operations team members, ensuring high performance, engagement, and compliance with KPIs.
- Act as primary liaison with customer points of contact to ensure service delivery quality and satisfaction.
- Monitor daily operational activities and implement mitigation or remediation plans when performance issues arise.
- Oversee resource allocation and workforce planning to ensure appropriate staffing and timely resolution of capacity needs.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, ICH-GCP guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements across all team activities.
- Drive continuous improvement by collecting customer feedback and implementing service enhancements.
- Support business growth by contributing to talent placement, retention, and account development initiatives.
- Participate in account meetings, regional business reviews, and leadership forums to align operational execution.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development support to team members.
- Oversee administrative and operational processes including HR-related activities, training compliance, and performance evaluations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in people management within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environment.
- Strong background in clinical operations and/or FSP (Functional Service Provider) models preferred.
- Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, clinical trial processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing performance, engagement, and development of teams.
- Strong customer management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to make data-driven operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in resource management, workforce planning, or operational oversight.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
