- 5+ years of experience in business operations, finance operations, people operations, or similar roles, preferably in startup environments.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Excellent judgment and comfort making independent decisions within defined boundaries.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to operate calmly and effectively in ambiguous situations while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Systems- and process-oriented mindset with experience in operational workflow management.
- Bonus points for experience supporting remote-first organizations, SaaS business operations, HRIS/payroll systems, compliance workflows, executive leadership support, or tools such as Rippling, Carta, Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, or Xero.
- Competitive compensation range of CAD $110,000–$150,000, with potential equity and performance-based incentives.
- Fully remote role with flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada.
- Exposure to a high-growth startup environment with direct impact on operational continuity and business outcomes.
- Opportunity to develop cross-functional skills in finance, people operations, compliance, and vendor management.
- Supportive, inclusive, and mission-driven work culture prioritizing employee well-being and professional growth.
