This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Navigator, IT & Security, Global based in United States.

This is a strategic, remote opportunity focused on accelerating AI-driven transformation across IT and cybersecurity operations.
You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting technology and security teams with practical opportunities to apply AI.
The role centers on discovering, validating, and preparing high-impact use cases rather than directly building AI solutions.
You will explore workflows across IT service management, infrastructure, identity, endpoint protection, and security operations.
Your work will help improve threat detection, incident response, service efficiency, infrastructure availability, and employee technology experiences.
Success requires strong business judgment, technical fluency, curiosity, and the ability to build trust with both executives and technical specialists.
You will join a global, remote-oriented environment where responsible AI, security, collaboration, and measurable business outcomes are central to the mission.

Accountabilities:
  • Embed with IT and Security teams to build trusted relationships with technology leaders, security professionals, infrastructure engineers, and service desk teams, becoming a key resource for identifying AI transformation opportunities.
  • Conduct structured discovery sessions and listening tours to understand current workflows, operational challenges, threat landscapes, and opportunities across IT service management, cybersecurity, infrastructure monitoring, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Translate technology and security challenges into structured AI use cases and assess their feasibility using available SIEM data, IT service management records, infrastructure telemetry, and threat intelligence.
  • Evaluate potential business value by considering improvements in detection and response times, incident reduction, service desk efficiency, infrastructure availability, security posture, and user satisfaction.
  • Create detailed opportunity assessments and intake documentation covering technology context, data sources, integrations, security classifications, compliance considerations, risks, resource requirements, and success criteria.
  • Champion responsible AI adoption by ensuring proposed solutions preserve security controls, minimize new attack surfaces, respect data confidentiality, and maintain appropriate human oversight for critical decisions.
  • Build internal champion networks and facilitate workshops that help IT and Security teams identify practical applications for AI, including behavioral analytics, predictive infrastructure management, intelligent service desk routing, threat detection, and automated response.
  • Partner with Security, Compliance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure AI opportunities align with organizational policies, security requirements, and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Establish measurable success criteria and track the health of the AI opportunity pipeline, including opportunity conversion and demonstrated business value.
  • Monitor emerging AI capabilities relevant to cybersecurity and IT operations and contribute insights that improve discovery methodologies for security-sensitive environments.
  • Support change management and AI literacy by communicating complex AI concepts in language accessible to both technical and business audiences, while addressing concerns around AI-assisted security decisions.
  • Identify cross-functional opportunities where IT and cybersecurity capabilities can support broader operational technology and infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of overall professional experience, including at least 3 years in IT operations, cybersecurity, technology infrastructure, or a closely related field; experience in critical infrastructure or data center environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management, including ITIL principles, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure monitoring, and enterprise technology environments.
  • Practical knowledge of AI applications in IT and cybersecurity, including machine learning for threat detection, NLP for ticket classification, predictive analytics, and automated response orchestration.
  • Familiarity with security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, and EDR, as well as IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and standards relevant to critical infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex technology or security challenges into structured opportunity assessments that balance innovation, business value, and risk.
  • Experience working in security-sensitive environments involving data classification, access controls, confidentiality, and restrictions on information sharing or analysis.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility with senior IT leaders and hands-on technical practitioners, adapting communication style to executive and technical audiences.
  • Track record of identifying technology, security, or operational improvements that produced measurable gains in efficiency, service quality, or security posture.
  • Strong judgment regarding when AI augmentation can strengthen security operations and when it may introduce unacceptable risks.
  • Excellent listening, facilitation, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, combined with genuine curiosity about technology and security operations.
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive security information and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% for stakeholder engagement across IT and Security functions.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available where appropriate.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation: $165,000–$170,000 base salary plus bonus; compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and location.
  • Health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Financial security: 401(k) program with company matching contributions.
  • Protection benefits: Life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Time off: Paid time off and a comprehensive paid-leave program.
  • Additional support: Employee assistance and other voluntary benefits.
  • Professional development: Access to training, development, recognition, and opportunities to expand your impact.
  • Work environment: Remote U.S.-based position with a collaborative, low-ego culture focused on supporting colleagues and sharing strengths.
  • Work-life balance: Flexible environment designed to support productivity, collaboration, and personal priorities.
  • Purpose and impact: Opportunity to influence how AI is responsibly adopted across IT, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure operations.
