This is an opportunity to contribute technical leadership to a complex Federal cybersecurity transformation initiative.

Accountabilities:

  • Define requirements for device identity, posture, health, compliance, endpoint protection, secure configuration, and device-based access signals.
  • Evaluate endpoint and device management technologies for interoperability, security effectiveness, and alignment with enterprise Zero Trust objectives.
  • Support implementation planning, pilot execution, technical test cases, regression testing, and operational readiness activities.
  • Validate endpoint dependencies and device-focused controls throughout implementation waves.
  • Coordinate device-related requirements and dependencies with identity, network, application, data, analytics, and automation teams.
  • Support the integration of endpoint signals into identity, conditional access, and broader security decision-making processes.
  • Document implementation outcomes, exceptions, architectural deviations, technical findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute technical expertise and guidance to ensure device security capabilities are consistently applied across enterprise environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint security, device management, desktop engineering, enterprise security engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, EDR, MDM/UEM, configuration management, and endpoint compliance assessment.
  • Strong understanding of device-centric Zero Trust principles, device posture, identity, and conditional access concepts.
  • Ability to assess enterprise endpoint technologies and understand their integration with broader security architectures.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and communicate complex endpoint security concepts clearly.
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Tanium, or comparable enterprise endpoint platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting Federal endpoint security requirements and enterprise cybersecurity programs.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating endpoint signals into identity and access management decisions.
  • Preferred certifications include Security+, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, CISSP, or CySA+.
Benefits:
  • 100% remote work environment.
  • Full-time opportunity supporting an enterprise-scale Zero Trust transformation initiative.
  • Opportunity to lead a critical cybersecurity pillar spanning endpoint identity, posture, protection, and compliance.
  • Exposure to modern enterprise endpoint security and Zero Trust technologies.
  • Collaboration with specialists across identity, network, application, data, analytics, and automation domains.
  • Opportunity to shape reusable architecture and implementation patterns with broad organizational impact.
  • Professional growth through involvement in complex Federal cybersecurity and technology initiatives.
