About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and providing support to various departments. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and experience with building maintenance. The successful candidate will be able to analyze problems and make industrial building improvements. They must also be comfortable operating heavy machinery, including scissor lifts, and have experience with installing building utilities. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for conducting routine checks and repairs to ensure the safety and efficiency of our facilities.

What you'll do

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including industrial system checks and repairs.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems with facility systems and equipment.
• Run electrical, air, and plumbing lines.
• Operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide support to various departments, including operations, engineering, and facilities management.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Strong background in mechanical knowledge and industrial maintenance practices.
• Experience with industrial systems and hydraulics.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, including volt meters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience doing maintenance on CNC machines (mills, lathes, laser, press brakes).
• Experience making building improvements and repairs like running electrical, gas lines, plumbing, cameras.
• Bilingual
• Mechanical knowledge: 4 years (Preferred)
