HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR in HOUSTON, Texas at ALLIED ALLOYS LP

Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR & Payroll Generalist to manage and process our payroll, as well as handle a variety of administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be proficient in payroll software (Paylocity preferred), have excellent numerical skills, and be able to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues and executives. The primary goal of this role is to ensure all personnel receive accurate compensation in a timely manner.

• Onboarding new employees, including processing I9s on E-Verify.
• Processing payroll on a weekly basis.
• Requesting and reviewing pre-employment screenings.
• Generating and customizing reports as requested.
• Documenting all employee relations issues.
• Maintaining up-to-date virtual employee files.
• Full-cycle recruiting: creating job descriptions, posting jobs, sourcing candidates, interviewing candidates.
• Facilitating the performance management program.
• Managing and configuring the HRIS system as needed.
• Auditing HR related invoices
• Planning & executing company events
• Leading performance reviews and developmental plans
• Handle all benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, & 401K plans

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• PHR/SHRM certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in payroll software, preferably Paylocity.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
