Overview: The Weld Cobot Operator Trainee will learn to operate cobots (collaborative robots) to assist in welding tasks. This position provides training and an opportunity to improve processes through 2 Second Lean initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: (include but not limited to): Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:
- Train to operate welding cobots for various welding tasks.
- Learn to adjust cobot settings and monitor performance.
- Participate in 2 Second Lean projects to improve welding processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Other duties may be assigned by leadership.
Qualifications: Minimum Preferred Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:
- No prior experience is required; training will be provided.
- Interest in robotics and welding.
- Ability to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
