Senior Systems Analyst - Business Services in Gastonia, North Carolina at CaroMont Health

Job Summary: The senior system analyst is responsible for performing the diversified duties required to coordinate computer systems applications for Patient Financial Services of CaroMont Health and subsidiary companies/departments. Responsibilities will include 1) analysis and determination of information requirements to assist with the design, modification and implementation of new or modified systems and processes designed to meet the needs of Patient Financial Services; 2) periodically serve as the lead resource for IS related projects; 3) makes recommendations to management regarding operations, products, technology and other pertinent areas; 4) Assists, trains and mentors staff members as necessary to help achieve departmental goals; 5) data extract, report design and creation; 6) maintenance of information systems related to Patient Financial Services (Invision, SSI Claims Modules, Dimensional Insight, Contract Management, SCI Scheduling, MedAssets Charge Capture Audit, etc.); 7) creation of spreadsheets, data bases, project plan/requirements for management analysis and/or employee tool.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Nursing or related field. Five to seven years related computer experience required; healthcare experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan and direct project activities. Good interpersonall skills.
