Position SummaryThe President is responsible for the overall operational and administrative leadership of Build Manage and its affiliated companies. As the organization's senior operating executive, the President ensures each company and department operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with the strategic direction established by the Chief Executive Officer.
This position leads company and department leaders, establishes accountability for results, strengthens communication across the organization, and ensures the people, systems, and processes needed for continued growth are in place.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions across Build Manage and all affiliated companies.
- Lead and hold accountable company executives, division leaders, and department managers.
- Translate the CEO's vision and strategic direction into clear priorities, operating plans, and measurable objectives.
- Establish and monitor company and departmental goals, KPIs, budgets, and performance expectations.
- Review operational and financial performance and ensure timely corrective action when objectives are not achieved.
- Ensure appropriate staffing, leadership, resources, systems, and processes are in place throughout the organization.
- Oversee centralized administrative functions, including Human Resources, Accounting, office administration, technology, fleet, compliance, and other shared services.
- Promote collaboration and effective communication between companies and departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, customer experience, quality, and organizational performance.
- Develop and mentor leaders while reinforcing a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure policies, procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed.
- Partner with the CEO on organizational growth, major investments, new business opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Resolve significant operational issues and ensure executive decisions and company initiatives are carried through to completion.

Qualifications
- Ten or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including senior operational or executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple departments, divisions, or business entities.
- Strong financial and operational business acumen.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold senior managers accountable.
- Experience establishing organizational structure, processes, KPIs, budgets, and performance standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in residential construction, real estate, development, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent executive leadership experience.
Measures of Success
Success will be measured by the overall performance of Build Manage and its affiliated companies, including operational efficiency, profitability, achievement of company goals, leadership accountability, employee performance and retention, customer experience, quality, execution of strategic initiatives, and the development of a scalable organization capable of supporting growth.
CEO and President Relationship
The CEO establishes the vision, strategic direction, and long-term objectives of the organization. The President is responsible for execution and results, independently managing day-to-day operational and administrative functions while keeping the CEO appropriately informed of performance, significant opportunities, risks, and decisions requiring executive involvement.
