This strategic sales role focuses on driving growth and building long-term partnerships within the Canadian public sector, specifically across key government ministries. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to understand complex organizational needs and position innovative cloud and AI-driven solutions that support mission-critical outcomes. The role combines consultative selling, territory development, and cross-functional collaboration in a highly dynamic enterprise environment. You will partner with internal specialists, delivery teams, and external partners to deliver tailored solutions and maximize customer impact. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of enterprise technology sales, relationship management, and public sector procurement environments. - Lead and execute a regional growth strategy focused on government ministries and public sector accounts in British Columbia and Alberta.
- Develop and manage territory plans, including account engagement strategies, pipeline generation, and customer outreach activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partner ecosystems within assigned accounts.
- Position enterprise technology and AI-driven solutions aligned with customer objectives and mission-critical priorities.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with internal teams to maximize account growth.
- Work cross-functionally with specialists, pre-sales, post-sales, and partner teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, government regulations, and competitive offerings to strengthen strategic positioning and customer value.
- Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and business growth updates to leadership.
- 10+ years of full-cycle enterprise software or technology sales experience.
- Proven track record managing and growing enterprise or public sector accounts, ideally within the Canadian government sector.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and collaborating across internal and external teams.
- Ability to develop strategic territory plans and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
- Competitive base salary range: CAD $157,050 – $210,100 annually for British Columbia-based candidates.
