Chief Engineer (Hotel) in Loveland, Colorado at Renascent Cascade LLC

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Engineer to oversee all maintenance operations for our hotel. This role is critical in ensuring a safe, fully functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members while meeting brand standards and local regulations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-driven, and takes pride in maintaining high operational and cleanliness standards in a hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all property maintenance operations including guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds
• Manage systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and pool equipment
• Execute and maintain a preventative maintenance program to reduce downtime and guest impact
• Ensure full compliance with Wyndham brand standards, local health codes, and safety regulations
• Respond quickly and effectively to guest service maintenance requests
• Conduct routine inspections and address issues before they affect guest experience
• Maintain accurate logs for work orders, inspections, and compliance records
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, inspections, and capital improvements
• Control maintenance inventory, supplies, and departmental expenses
• Support hotel leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
• Participate in on-call and emergency response situations

• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or multi-unit properties
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and inspections
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including weekends

• Previous experience as a Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor in a hotel
• Familiarity with systems like Quore, InnFlow, or similar work order platforms
• Certifications such as EPA, HVAC, or trade licenses
• Experience with pool maintenance and local compliance standards
