Job Description

Client Partner, Strategic Accounts

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Partner, Strategic Accounts based in the United States.

This is a strategic client leadership role focused on building and growing a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts.
You will develop trusted relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders and serve as a strategic partner on AI, cloud, and technology transformation decisions.
The role combines account growth, delivery leadership, commercial ownership, and hands-on client engagement in a highly outcome-focused environment.
You will work closely with global engineering, delivery, and solution teams to ensure complex technology initiatives consistently deliver measurable business value.
You will own the commercial and operational health of your portfolio, including SOWs, forecasting, margins, staffing, renewals, and expansion.
The position is designed for an entrepreneurial leader who thrives in lean, fast-moving environments and is comfortable taking direct ownership of both strategy and execution.
You will have the opportunity to build a significant client portfolio while helping shape a modern, automation-driven model for delivering technology services.

Accountabilities:
  • Build durable, trusted relationships with VP and C-level client sponsors and become a strategic advisor on AI, cloud, automation, and technology transformation.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that grow a strong portfolio through trusted relationships, delivery excellence, innovation, and measurable client outcomes.
  • Take ownership of client delivery commitments, ensuring that agreed initiatives are executed effectively and deliver the expected business value.
  • Own the commercial lifecycle across the portfolio, including statements of work, forecasting, margins, staffing, procurement, and renewals.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion by understanding evolving client priorities and connecting them with relevant technology solutions and capabilities.
  • Partner closely with delivery leaders, engineers, solution architects, and global teams to coordinate resources and ensure high-quality client outcomes.
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable technology strategies while maintaining strong alignment between executive stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Operate as a hands-on account leader who is willing to engage directly in client discussions, delivery challenges, and solution development.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio based on long-term relationships, successful delivery, innovation, and shared business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of an outcome-based technology services model centered on measurable results rather than traditional service delivery alone.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, strategic account management, or a related client leadership environment, with a demonstrated track record of growing accounts through delivery excellence.
  • Strong combination of business and technical expertise, with the ability to understand executive-level business challenges and work effectively with technical teams to shape solutions.
  • Proven experience owning the full commercial lifecycle, including SOWs, forecasting, margins, procurement, staffing, and renewals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and strategic enterprise clients.
  • Experience delivering AI-based solutions, cloud transformation initiatives involving AWS, Azure, or GCP, or large-scale enterprise modernization programs.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 organizations or similarly complex enterprise environments.
  • Comfortable operating in lean, fast-moving organizations where account leaders are expected to remain hands-on and directly involved in client delivery.
  • Strong commercial judgment, ownership mentality, and ability to balance client outcomes, delivery quality, and portfolio performance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate globally distributed teams and bring together delivery, engineering, and solution expertise around client priorities.
  • Prior P&L or portfolio responsibility is preferred.
  • Experience managing accounts where AI or automation was the core value proposition is a plus.
  • Experience within a high-growth technology services organization focused on automated or outcome-based solutions is an advantage.
  • Applicants must be based in and authorized to work in the United States or Canada and must be able to travel as required.
Benefits:
  • Base salary plus uncapped profit share from the portfolio.
  • Fully remote, remote-first work arrangement.
  • High-trust environment with significant autonomy and ownership.
  • Opportunity to build and grow a strategic enterprise client portfolio.
  • Global collaboration with distributed delivery, engineering, and solution teams.
  • Exposure to high-impact AI, cloud transformation, automation, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior executive stakeholders at leading organizations.
  • Entrepreneurial environment where client outcomes and measurable business value are central to success.
  • Opportunity to help shape an innovative, outcome-based model for technology services.
  • Professional environment focused on ownership, excellence, innovation, and measurable impact.
