Fitness Coordinator

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct fitness and aquatic classes, personal training, and wellness assessments.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate fitness programs that promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Track resident participation and sustain engagement through motivation and new initiatives.
  • Ensure safe, clean facilities and maintain exercise equipment with preventative care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and support departmental goals as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • High school graduate or equivalent (required)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older (required)
  • A bachelor’s degree in health science, physiology, kinesiology, fitness, or a related field (preferred)
  • Personal training and/or group exercise certification (preferred)
  • CPR and Lifeguard certification (preferred)
  • Will allow time for training the above certifications for the right candidate
  • Must have a passion for fitness and working with seniors
