Job Summary
The APP in the neurology ambulatory setting is an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, primarily functioning in the clinic to manage the neurological needs of an identified outpatient population in collaboration with service aligned teams.

The APP works closely with outpatient neurology testing services, such as EMG and MRI, and may also support the same patient population in the inpatient consultative setting or serve as a resource to inpatient care teams. Grounded in evidence based practice and education, the APP is responsible for ensuring an environment of safe, high quality care while demonstrating advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism, effective interpersonal and communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and competency validation.
