Welding Training Instructor Job Description

Training Instructors impart industry-specific knowledge and skills, facilitating employee development. Responsibilities encompass designing effective training programs, conducting workshops, evaluating trainee performance, and refining course content to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop training programs for employees
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for new hires and current employees
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify as needed
• Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop solutions
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in employee training and development
• Provide feedback and coaching to employees to facilitate their growth and development
• Manage training materials and resources, including training manuals, presentations, and audiovisual equipment
• Track and report on employee training progress and completion to management

Requirements:

• Minimum of a degree or certification in relevant field or applicable experience in industry
• Proven experience as a training instructor or similar role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to design and develop training programs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods
• Ability to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software
