Position DescriptionThe Human Development Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering the growth and well-being of individuals within an organizational and community setting. This interim position will focus on delivering high-priority outcomes during a busy spring and summer program cycle.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the administration office (1276 University Avenue) and the Conway Community Center. The position is grant-funded through the Department of Labor and is scheduled to end on August 28, with the possibility of renewal depending on funding and performance.

Working hours may vary based on program needs, including peak summer programming periods.

​The manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that support personal, professional, and social development. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, curriculum development, and direct support of program staff working with youth and young adults (ages 14–24).


Role and Responsibilities
    Develop and implement multimedia-based curriculum for youth ages 14-24, support human development programming

    Lead the creation and rollout of a Google Classroom platform for the Human Development department to enhance learning delivery and resource access

    Review and improve internship descriptions and job responsibilities to ensure alignment with institutional and program requirements

    Provide hands-on, day-to-day support to programming staff overseeing workforce participants (ages 14–24), especially during intensive summer programming

    Support workforce development initiatives aligned with Department of Labor expectations

    Perform other duties as assigned to support seasonal program success


Required Education & Qualifications

    Knowledgeable about Human Development, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field

    At least 3 years of experience in program management or human development roles

    Strong understanding of youth workforce & job training

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

    Excellent communication and organizational skillProject Management
Preferred Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Organizational Development, or a related discipline

Experience working within community organizations or educational institutions

Familiarity with data analysis tools and program evaluation methodologies

Certification in project management or related professional development credentials

Demonstrated experience in leadership roles and youth development
