PT Front Desk Receptionist in Woburn, Massachusetts at Excel Orthopaedic Specialists

What you will be doing:

• Checking in patients, accepting co-payments and posting payments
• Scheduling appointments, problem-solving and schedule optimization
• Obtaining, managing and troubleshooting referrals and authorizations
• Communicating proactively with clinical staff any issues concerning patient care

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry required, experience in a Physical Therapy office preferred.
• Able to work independently.
• Great Phone and people skills.
• Must be a team player and willing to work together with a tight-knit organization
• Must possess effective communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with fast-paced physical therapists, medical professionals, patients and their families
• Must have efficient documentation skills, an attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Must be comfortable with EMR (electronic medical records).
• Must possess a personable, collaborative attitude, the ability to prioritize many different projects simultaneously.
• Should value overall health and wellness as well as be able to promote our practice as an orthopedic specialty practice
